Major Fantasmic! Schedule Shake-Up Could Ruin Your Plans (If You’re Not Careful)

If you’ve got a November Disney World trip planned, here’s something you’ll want to note. Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is about to get a major schedule shake-up—and if you’re not paying attention, you could miss the show entirely.

Why This Show Matters So Much

Fantasmic! isn’t just another nighttime offering. Since 1998, it’s been a core part of the Hollywood Studios experience, drawing massive crowds every evening. It combines water projections, pyrotechnics, music, and live performances to tell a story that features Mickey, beloved Disney heroes, and unforgettable villains.

For decades, guests have planned their evenings around this spectacular. But November’s schedule will require more planning than ever.

October’s Steady Schedule

Right now, things are easy. In October, the show typically runs twice—8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.—with only a few single-performance nights. It’s predictable, simple, and perfect for guests trying to fit in a few more rides before ending the night with Mickey’s big battle.

November Throws a Curveball

Once November hits, that predictable pattern disappears. Some nights will still offer two shows. Others will only have one at 9:30 p.m. And on select nights, tied to Jollywood Nights, the only showing of the evening will be at 6:30 p.m.—a dramatic shift for anyone expecting a traditional late-night performance.

The earlier showtime aligns with the start of the holiday party at 7:30 p.m., which clears the park of non-event guests.

Jollywood Nights Make an Impact

Jollywood Nights isn’t just any event—it’s one of the big holiday offerings at Hollywood Studios. It blends vintage holiday charm with special entertainment, themed treats, exclusive characters, and lower wait times. But it also changes the Fantasmic! schedule significantly.

The event will be held on six nights in November: November 8, 15, 17, 22, 24, and 29. On these dates, guests will only have one chance to see Fantasmic!, and that’s at 6:30 p.m.

Plan or Risk Missing It

Here’s the bottom line: if you’re visiting in November and don’t double-check the schedule, there’s a real chance you could miss Fantasmic! altogether. The times vary from night to night, and that lack of consistency could trip up even seasoned Disney pros.

While this shake-up reflects how packed the holiday season has become, it also adds a layer of strategy to your park day. If Fantasmic! is a must-do on your trip, checking the daily schedule ahead of time isn’t optional—it’s essential.
