Disneyland Resort’s Halloween Time celebration will look a little different this year, especially for two of Disney’s most iconic characters. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are getting a brand-new makeover in honor of multiple milestones happening across the Southern California Disney destination.
The Halloween Time update comes during the Disneyland70 celebration, which began last month and runs through summer 2026. As part of the festivities, Mickey, Minnie, and their friends debuted colorful new outfits that reflect the theme park’s legacy. Now, they’re set to receive a fresh Halloween twist inspired by those same anniversary designs.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, “Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends will dress to impress this Halloween in bright new looks featuring swirling colors of purple, green and orange — a twist on their 70th Celebration outfits! Make sure to wave ‘hello’ and snap a photo.”
Concept art shared by Disney Parks Blog shows Mickey wearing a cape-style jacket with a vibrant, spooky spin on his Disneyland70 sweatshirt. Minnie trades in her rainbow tutu for one in seasonal swirls of purple, green, and orange, all layered under a similar moto-style jacket.
The new looks will be visible during regular park hours throughout Halloween Time, meaning guests won’t need Oogie Boogie Bash tickets to see them in person. Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort runs from August 22 through October 31, 2025.
Disneyland Resort also confirmed several popular seasonal attraction overlays will return, including Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland Park, as well as Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark, Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, and Mater’s Junkyard Jam-Boo-Ree at Disney California Adventure Park.
As for Oogie Boogie Bash, ticket sales for the general public will begin on June 26, 2026. Inspire Key holders can purchase special event tickets starting June 24, and all other Magic Key Pass holders can join on June 25. The special-ticketed event includes exclusive character meet-and-greets, themed entertainment, treat trails, and reduced wait times for fan-favorite attractions.
