Each Moonlight Magic event is an exclusive offering just for members of Disney Vacation Club that offers extra time in Disney Parks after regular park hours. While the specific details vary by each event and each park, Moonlight Magic events generally include special character sightings, unique entertainment (sometimes even in the form of different fireworks or unexpected parade floats), and a selection of complimentary snacks and treats (often cookies!), along with much shorter wait times than you would normally find for attractions, at least without the use of Genie+ or Lightning Lane.

As you plan your next trip to Moonlight Magic, note the following event dates for each Walt Disney World theme park:

  • March 17, 31

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

  • May 24
  • June 16
  • July 14

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

  • July 26
  • August 31

In the past, Moonlight Magic also took place at the Magic Kingdom, however, no dates for the event in the Magic Kingdom have been announced at this time.

(If this is you, Disney will be sending an email with complete details on February 22, 2022, so be sure to keep an eye out for it!) In the email, you will find links to register for the first events at EPCOT beginning in March. For all other eligible Disney Vacation Club members, general registration will open on March 8, 2022. Pending availability based on park capacities, the Disney Vacation Club member is also able to bring four Guests to the event with them!
