More ‘Paid FastPass’ Coming Soon to Two Disney Park Attractions

“Paid FastPass” options like Disney Genie+/Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World and Disney Premier Access at Disneyland Paris have been the subject of debate among Disney fans since they debuted last year, and today, Disney announced that new attractions will soon be available to book for shorter wait times for additional costs. Beginning May 19, 2022, Disney Premier Access will make its debut at Tokyo Disney Resort for use at two attractions.

Guests visiting Tokyo Disneyland will soon be able to book Disney Premier Access reservations for The Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, an impressive dark ride that immerses Guests in the story of Beauty and the Beast (1991).

And, at Tokyo DisneySea, Disney Premier Access will be available to Guests looking to ride Soaring: Fantastic Flight, a version of the Soarin’ Around the World attraction seen at both Disney California Adventure and EPCOT.

Both attractions will be available to purchase passes through the Disney Premier Access app beginning on May 19, 2022, at the cost of 2,000 yen or $15 per person per attraction. Standby lines will continue to operate for both attractions as well, and much like similar offerings at other Disney parks, Disney Premier Access attractions are subject to availability and change.

Reservations are not required to visit the theme parks at Tokyo Disney Resort, however, advance ticket purchases are required at this time and tickets are tied to specific dates (as opposed to Walt Disney World and Disneyland tickets, where Guests are able to purchase a ticket before reserving the date of their visit.) In-person ticket booths at Tokyo Disney Resort have not yet reopened from their closures at the onset of the pandemic, so be sure to purchase tickets online in advance if you plan to visit.
