As the Jurassic World franchise charges ahead with new releases, fans can look forward to a host of exciting projects that span many forms of media.
The upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) will lead the charge, followed sometime after by the first-person action-adventure video game “Jurassic Park: Survival” and the park builder title “Jurassic World Evolution 3.” The third season of Chaos Theory is also headed to Netflix this April.
Now, the franchise is also taking a bold step into the world of the metaverse with “The Sandbox x Jurassic World,” a new virtual experience where fans can explore a blocky, digital version of the iconic Jurassic universe.
While the creatures’ designs are a huge departure from the realistic depictions seen in the films, this venture offers an engaging, playful way to interact with the world of Jurassic in a whole new way.
What’s also intriguing about this latest addition is the appearance of some of the franchise’s most iconic characters—Claire Dearing and Alan Grant, played by Bryce Dallas Howard and Sam Neill respectively—but, of course, in block form.

With Rebirth set to release in theaters on July 2, 2025, and Chaos Theory Season 3 arriving this April, there’s no shortage of content for fans to sink their teeth into. And the metaverse game, with its blocky dinos and iconic characters, adds yet another layer to this ever-growing universe.
“The Sandbox x Jurassic World,” officially titled “Jurassic World: Dinosaur Preserve,” is expected to launch alongside The Sandbox’s Alpha Season 5 in March 2025.
