New on Disney+ This June: What to Watch and Why We’re Pressing Play

Summer’s heating up, and Disney+ is serving a lineup that’s equal parts fun, heartfelt, and totally out of left field—in the best way. Whether you’re into Broadway bangers, ocean deep-dives, animated throwbacks, or fresh Marvel heroes, June’s got something for you. Here’s everything we’re excited to stream:

Pupstruction (Season 2, 6 Episodes)

June 4

The paw-sitively adorable construction pups are back and busier than ever! Season 2 of Pupstruction brings six brand-new episodes filled with teamwork, creativity, and wag-worthy problem-solving.

It’s the kind of show that’s perfect for young viewers but still clever enough for adults to enjoy on the sly. Think Bob the Builder meets a dog park—with way more cuddles.

Phineas and Ferb (Season 5 Premiere, First 10 Episodes)

June 6

After a long hiatus, Phineas and Ferb return with a brand-new season, and we are so here for it. The inventive stepbrothers are diving back into their 104 days of summer vacation, building insane contraptions while dodging (or annoying) their sister Candace, who’s still on a mission to bust them.

Meanwhile, Perry the Platypus is still rocking a fedora and saving the Tristate Area from the lovable evil genius Dr. Doofenshmirtz. The humor hits, the nostalgia is real, and the first 10 episodes drop simultaneously. Binge away.

Ocean with David Attenborough

June 8

If you need a moment of peace or just want to witness jaw-dropping underwater cinematography, Ocean is your go-to. Narrated by the legendary David Attenborough, this Nat Geo special explores the world’s most spectacular ocean habitats and the mind-blowing creatures that call them home. It’s more than just pretty visuals; it’s a hopeful look at how life below the surface could thrive again, if we give it a chance. It’s equal parts calming and compelling. A nature documentary with soul.

Underdogs (Season 1)

June 16

If your favorite part of nature docs is the “wait, WHAT is that?!” moment, Underdogs is your new favorite series. This five-episode National Geographic show, narrated and executive produced by Ryan Reynolds, dives into the lives of the planet’s most bizarre, overlooked, and downright bizarre creatures. We’re talking glow-in-the-dark grub caves, deceptive mating moves, awful parenting techniques, and survival skills that feel like something out of science fiction. Thanks to Reynolds ‘ signature sarcasm, it’s gross, fascinating, and surprisingly hilarious.

SALLY

June 17

Sally Ride was the first American woman in space, but her story goes way beyond that single headline. This intimate and moving documentary, told largely through the eyes of her partner of 27 years, Tam O’Shaughnessy, reveals a side of Sally that most people never knew. Expect a personal portrait of love, ambition, and quiet trailblazing. Directed by Emmy® winner Cristina Costantini, SALLY gives us an inspiring look at a hero whose legacy is as complex as it is powerful.

Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical

June 20

You’ve sung the songs. You’ve memorized the movie. Now, watch Frozen come to life like never before in this dazzling Broadway adaptation. The stage version brings new depth (and 12 new songs!) to the characters you love, while delivering jaw-dropping set designs, special effects, and pure theatrical magic. This isn’t just for kids; this is a full-blown Broadway spectacle. Whether you’re a theater nerd, a Disney fan, or both, this one’s worth melting for.

Ironheart (Three-Episode Premiere at 6p.m. PT)

June 24

Marvel fans, meet your new obsession. Riri Williams, a genius teenage inventor introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, takes center stage in Ironheart. She’s building iron suits of her own and navigating a collision between cutting-edge tech and dark, mysterious magic in her hometown of Chicago. With Dominique Thorne returning as Riri and Anthony Ramos stepping in as the enigmatic Parker Robbins (a.k.a. The Hood), the series promises high stakes, fresh energy, and the kind of storytelling that Marvel does best. Bonus: Thorne and Ramos bring the heat.

In Summary…

June on Disney+ is stacked. Whether you’re in it for the throwbacks (Phineas and Ferb!), the stage magic (Frozen!), the Marvel energy (Ironheart!), or the gross-but-amazing bugs (Underdogs!), there’s something new to discover every few days. So get comfy, queue your favorites, and let the summer streaming begin.
