Few franchises capture the spirit of retro pop culture like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and now, they’ve made an explosive entrance into another popular franchise.
“Call of Duty: Warzone & Black Ops 6” has unveiled a TMNT bundle that marries the relentless action of a military shooter with the nostalgic charm of the half-shell heroes.
The news arrived via a short teaser that channels the early ‘90s vibe of the live-action TMNT films. Now, the first official trailer continues that trend with a very familiar song:
The trailer's nod to Vanilla Ice’s “Go, Ninja, Go” from the 1991 sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Secret of the Ooze, strikes a chord with those who remember the original films fondly, while simultaneously attracting a new generation of players eager for a fresh take on a familiar universe.
The bundle features exclusive in-game items, unique character skins, and special challenges that let players embody the spirit of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo as they navigate the intense battlegrounds of “Call of Duty.”
It’s a combination of genres that brings together the raw, adrenaline-fueled action of a military shooter with the playful, rebellious energy that has defined the Ninja Turtles since their comic book debut in 1984.

The TMNT bundle has been available since February 20. Whether you’re a die-hard TMNT fan or a dedicated “Call of Duty” player, this crossover promises a uniquely engaging experience that bridges the gap between '90s nostalgia and modern high-octane action.
In addition to this cowabunga crossover, there are plenty of other recent Ninja Turtles video games to enjoy, like “Shredder's Revenge,” “Splintered Fate,” and “Mutants Unleashed.”
But if you’re not into gaming, there’s plenty for a diehard TMNT fan to enjoy. IDW Publishing is keeping the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles spirit alive with its ongoing series like “Nightwatcher” and “Mutant Nation,” while the hugely popular “The Last Ronin” series is being reimagined as a live-action, R-rated film (although there's no release date yet).
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2 is also set to hit theaters in 2026. The film is a direct sequel to the 2023 blockbuster hit from producer Seth Rogen.
