Fantasyland at Disneyland Paris Resort is in the middle of an ambitious building-by-building restoration effort. The latest update from the European Disney park reveals both a significant milestone and the next project already underway.
A New Roof Makes Its Debut

The scaffolding that has surrounded La Chaumière des Sept Nains — The Cottage of Seven Dwarfs merchandise location — since January 2026 came down on June 10, revealing the results of five months of work. X user @PixieDustDLP shared the first look at the refreshed structure on the platform formerly known as Twitter:

Brand-new multicolor roof tiles are now visible on the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)-inspired gift shop. The scaffolding may be gone, but the building isn't fully unobstructed yet. Construction walls continue to surround the structure, and Disneyland Paris Resort hasn't confirmed whether additional restoration work remains.

The gift shop's display windows have been obscured for some time, with no statement from the European Disney park about why they're no longer showcasing merchandise.
A Year of Systematic Renovation
La Chaumière des Sept Nains is the latest beneficiary of what has been a methodical, structure-by-structure restoration campaign running through Fantasyland in 2026. Earlier in the year, Les Voyages de Pinocchio — Pinocchio's Daring Journey — went through the same process, emerging from behind its barriers with a refreshed roof and facade.

Disneyland Paris Resort hasn't announced which other Fantasyland buildings might be next in line, leaving Peter Pan's Flight and sections of the Auberge de Cendrillon restaurant as untouched structures yet to receive the same treatment.
With La Chaumière des Sept Nains now in its final stages, Disneyland Paris Resort's attention has visibly shifted to the neighboring Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains attraction — the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ride that has been closed since March 30, 2026. Scaffolding has gone up around that structure as facade restoration work appears to be getting underway in earnest, following two previous delays to the reopening timeline. The attraction is currently scheduled to reopen on July 28, 2026.
