A disturbing incident in a Walt Disney World Resort parking lot on April 17 ended in an arrest…but not before the victim's attempt to find help at a fire station on property came up empty.
What Happened at the McDonald's Parking Lot

Around 1:00 p.m. on April 17, 2026, a woman parked in the rideshare lot at the McDonald's located on Walt Disney World Resort property noticed a man positioned behind her vehicle at an unusual angle. According to the arrest report, that man was later identified as Gavin Jones, 36, of Windermere, Florida.
Jones reportedly got out of his vehicle and leaned against the hood. Facing the woman's car, he exposed his genitals and began to masturbate. The arrest report notes that the victim confirmed Jones was aware of her presence as the two made eye contact during the incident.
The woman drove away. Jones returned to his vehicle and followed her.
A Disney World Fire Station With No One Inside

Seeking help on Disney property, the woman drove to the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District fire station located within Walt Disney World Resort. She found it unstaffed. With no one there to assist her, she continued driving until she located an Orange County Sheriff's Deputy in the parking lot at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, where she reported the incident.
Deputies located and arrested Jones. He denied exposing himself publicly but told officers that he frequently scratches his pubic region without realizing it due to what he described as a “medical issue.” His vehicle was towed, and he was taken to jail.

Jones was charged with a first offense of exposing his sexual organs, a first-degree misdemeanor under Florida law. He has pleaded not guilty. Orange County Sheriff's Office records show Jones has a prior arrest history dating back to 2007 that includes driving under the influence and battery on a law enforcement officer.
