Saxophone from Jazz Musician, Charlie Parker, Arrives at Epcot’s “The Soul of Jazz”

February 1 was a big day for Epcot! “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” opened to guests at Epcot. We were there to check out the experience, and you can check out our full review here. We also shared the news that Jazz Legend, Louis Armstrong’s trumpet is part of the exhibit! And today, even more excitement… as the saxophone from Jazz Musician, Charlie Parker arrives!

As shared via Walt Disney World Cast and Community Facebook page: “It was all smiles and soul at EPCOT this morning as we welcomed the arrival of a very special saxophone from jazz musician Charlie Parker. The instrument was added to “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” exhibit from the American Jazz Museum in Kansas City – and Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas and the museum’s Executive Director Rashida Phillips helped with the special delivery. Be sure to bebop over to the pavilion and check it out on your next EPCOT adventure!”
