Disney's Wilderness Lodge is dealing with another major infrastructure problem, and this time some Walt Disney World guests are being moved to entirely different resorts.
A water outage is affecting Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, leaving guests with extremely low water pressure and toilets that reportedly won't flush properly.
The situation comes less than two months after another major failure affected Wilderness Lodge. Now, Disney is relocating some guests while offering refunds and bill adjustments to those caught in the latest disruption.
Water Outage Hits Boulder Ridge Villas
The latest problem reportedly began around 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 8.
Guests staying at Boulder Ridge have reported very low water pressure from faucets. Reports have also indicated that toilets aren't flushing properly, creating a significant problem for anyone staying in the affected accommodations.
Boulder Ridge Villas is part of Disney's Wilderness Lodge and offers Disney Vacation Club accommodations.
While guests expect occasional maintenance issues during any hotel stay, a prolonged water outage creates a much different situation. Basic needs such as showering, washing hands, and using bathrooms can become difficult without reliable water service.
As of Sunday evening, there was no reported timeline for restoration. The cause of the outage also remained unknown.
Guests Are Being Moved to Other Disney Resorts
Rather than simply waiting for water service to return, some affected guests are being relocated elsewhere on Walt Disney World property.
Reports indicate Disney has moved guests to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Disney's Old Key West Resort.
Relocating can be a significant inconvenience, especially for families already settled into their rooms. Guests may have unpacked luggage, purchased groceries, or built their transportation plans around staying at Wilderness Lodge.
Disney is reportedly providing some financial relief as well. Refunds and adjustments are being offered to affected guests, including people who relocate and some who remain at Boulder Ridge.

Wilderness Lodge Faced Another Failure in June
The timing makes the latest incident particularly noteworthy.
In mid-June, Disney's Wilderness Lodge experienced a complete air-conditioning failure in its main building. That outage reportedly affected both guest rooms and two restaurants.
The air-conditioning problems continued for several days.
Now, less than two months later, the Wilderness Lodge area is dealing with another infrastructure failure. This time, the problem involves water service at Boulder Ridge Villas.
The two incidents aren't necessarily connected, and there is currently nothing indicating they share a common cause. Still, having two significant infrastructure problems within such a short period creates an unfortunate situation for guests staying at the resort.
Disney Hasn't Revealed What Caused the Outage
There are still major questions surrounding the latest problem.
No cause has been reported for the Boulder Ridge water outage, and there is currently no reported estimate for when full service will return.
