See ‘Encanto’ at AMC Disney Springs and Check Out This Exhibit and Photo Opp.

Have you ever seen a movie at AMC in Disney Springs? Seeing a movie is a sort of underrated activity for Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort on vacation, but catching a new Disney movie can actually be a fun way to spend some time without using a park ticket and while exploring Disney Springs!

If you are visiting Walt Disney World this holiday season, you may want to stop by the theater to see ‘Encanto,’ the latest film to debut from Walt Disney Animation Studios. The film, which releases in theaters across the country today, November 24, 2021, is actually the 60th film from Walt Disney Animation Studios!

‘Encanto’ follows the story of Mirabel, a member of the Madrigal family who live in a magical place in Colombia called Encanto. Everyone in the family except for Mirabel has been blessed with a unique gift, but when she discovers her family’s magic may be in danger she works to find her own magic.

AMC in Disney Springs currently has a special photo opp for Guests heading inside the theater to see the film, and a unique red carpet experience for the whole family! There are also informational displays sharing some of the inspiration and behind the scenes trivia from Disney artists and animators who worked on the film that can only be seen at AMC in Disney Springs.

With everyone finally heading back to the movies, we strongly recommend getting your tickets to see ‘Encanto’ at AMC in Disney Springs in advance online, especially if you are visiting this week as Thanksgiving and the holiday season is a very busy time of year at the Walt Disney World Resort.
