We love a good Disney Instagram wall, and the latest colorful backdrop at the Walt Disney World Resort just debuted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in celebration of the latest film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, ‘Encanto‘!

The new mural is beautifully painted with bright colors and festive animals native to the film’s setting of Colombia. You can find it in Discovery Island nearby the front of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. (When you enter Discovery Island after passing through the Oasis and seeing the front of the Tree of Life, take a left toward Pandora and you will see the mural before you reach Creature Comforts, aka Starbucks.)

This mural is a welcome addition to the art collection at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which features everything from authentic artifacts handmade by artisans throughout Asia and Africa, to Disney Imagineer-created murals, and so much more (even the Tree of Life itself!)

This new ‘Encanto’ inspired mural is also thoughtfully placed nearby the Cotton-Top Tamarin exhibit, an animal native to Colombia! Speaking of Cotton-Top Tamarins, did you know there are a couple of different ways you can support conservation efforts for these beautiful creatures in the wild while visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom?

First, you can head to Creature Comforts after checking out the new mural and order up a flat white (you can get it hot or iced.) When purchased from this Starbucks location, a portion of proceeds from flat whites go towards non-profit organizations that support Cotton-Top Tamarins in the wild.

The Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund also works with non-profit organizations who work to conserve Cotton-Top Tamarin habitats, including the renowned Proyecto Tití’ based in Colombia. Cotton-Top Tamarins are among the most beautiful creatures in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but they are also unfortunately among the most endangered primates in the wild, so supporting causes like the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund can help ensure that these animals are around for generations to come.

You can make a donation to the fund at any quick service dining or merchandise location in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, simply ask the Cast Member at the register checking you out. The best part? Disney matches each donation to the fund and covers all overhead costs!
