A new year means new merchandise from shopDisney, and we are especially excited about the new Mickey Mouse The Main Attraction items! This collection features a new theme each month that fans can order online through shopDisney, and we just got a sneak peek at January’s theme thanks to @shopdisneyuk on Instagram:

The first theme for this year’s Main Attraction collection is Space Mountain! Included in the collection are the iconic Mickey Mouse plush, a Mickey Ear headband, pin, key, and special edition Loungefly backpack all themed to this classic Tomorrowland attrition.
These collections sell out quickly, so we will be sure to share the news as soon as we know when they will go on sale stateside. If you are shopping from the UK, as the post from @shopdisneyuk mentions, these items will be released at 8:00 AM on Friday, January 28, 2022. Going forward, UK releases for the Mickey Mouse The Main Attraction collection will take place on the last Friday of each month.

Unfortunately for shoppers in the US, we do not have an official launch date from Disney yet, but we hope to have one soon. We have been poking around the shopDisney website, as the new Mickey Mouse The Main Attraction items are typically listed as the merchandise that is coming soon, but we have not seen them on there yet so it may just be too early to tell.
A similar collection featuring Minnie Mouse debuted last year and sold out almost instantly, leaving many fans disappointed they weren’t able to pick up some of the popular Space Mountain-themed items. While we are hoping there is more availability this year so more fans can have a shot at purchasing it, we are expecting this to be a tough buy given last year’s popularity.
