Disney Pro tips that anger Cast Members

Stroller rentals at Walt Disney World just received an extra dose of magic!

The new strollers available for rentals in Walt Disney World theme parks as well as at Disney Springs take their design inspiration from the new Mickey Mouse shorts. Each stroller features Mickey’s iconic color scheme and artwork of both Mickey and Minnie on either side of the stroller, plus the same comfortable seating and mesh covers to protect riders from the sun.

Disney took to Facebook to share the following message on launch day for the new strollers:

Oh boy! Little Mouseketeers can now ride down Main Street in style with new Mickey and Minnie themed strollers. Thank you to the Cast who helped prepare thousands of strollers for their big debut at the theme parks and Disney Springs today!

The strollers are now available to all Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. The pricing structure for stroller rentals at the parks and Disney Springs has not changed with the redesign.

Stroller rentals are currently priced at $15 per day for single strollers and $13 per day for multiple days or the length of your stay. Double strollers run $31 per day or $27 per day for additional days/length of stay. Note that if you are renting strollers at Disney Springs, a $100 credit card deposit is required.

The same rules and restrictions for stroller rentals apply with the new designs, primarily that you should not leave personal belongings in strollers when they are unattended, and while using strollers (your own or those rented from Disney) note that Cast Members may need to move them after you’ve parked them.

Recently a Disney Cast Member had to deal with a tough Guest situation that was caught on camera when they lost their temper over their stroller being moved, so definitely be prepared for your stroller to move, and if it happens, please be kind to Cast Members!

We think the new stroller designs are so fun, and they will certainly add some extra fun theming to visits to Walt Disney World with little ones. The new Mickey Mouse cartoons are super popular with kids, so the whole family can certainly enjoy spending some extra time around favorite Disney characters with the new strollers.
