New Strollers Featuring Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Coming Soon to Walt Disney World

Strollers are a must-have for visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with little ones, whether you opt to bring your own stroller from home or rent one each day you plan to visit a Disney park. For a number of years, Disney park strollers have been un-themed, offering an easy way to wheel the kids around the parks while blending into the areas around them, this is all about to change, however, as new, themed strollers are coming soon!

According to WDWMagic, new strollers will begin a rollout around Walt Disney World theme parks beginning January 20, 2022, featuring original designs of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as well as nods to both characters’ classic looks. The beige strollers that Guests have been able to rent around the Walt Disney World Resort for a number of years now will be phased out as the new themed strollers make their debuts.

At this time, no changes have been announced for the pricing structure of Disney stroller rentals, so it seems strollers will remain priced at $15 per day or $13 per day for multiple days (length of stay), or $31/27 respectively for double strollers. All of the previous restrictions to strollers will still apply, as the new strollers as the same styles as the beige ones currently at Walt Disney World just done up with a new look.

Strollers

Strollers are available at all Walt Disney World theme parks and at Disney Springs (a $100 deposit is required to book a stroller at Disney Springs). Disney strollers are only available to rent in these locations, so if you will be needing a stroller while at your Disney Resort (or an ECV or wheelchair) Disney works with ScooterBug, a third party company that can deliver mobility products right to your resort to have during your entire stay.

Stroller Rentals

Along with stroller rentals, all Walt Disney World theme parks include baby care centers with air-conditioned seating areas, rooms for breastfeeding, places to pick up baby items you may have forgotten, and more. The Magic Kingdom’s baby care center was also recently redone with an Alice in Wonderland theme and it looks adorable!

We think the new stroller designs will be a fun bit of added theming for families visiting Disney parks with babies and toddlers, and we will keep you updated here on Disney Fanatic if we learn of other changes coming to stroller rentals at Walt Disney World.
