6. Where to Eat

When you come to Disney, you will never lack for excellent food options. Eateries are categorized into Snacks, Counter Service, Table Service and Character Dining (which is either table service or buffet). The titles are pretty self-explanatory, but the options within the categories are surprisingly varied. Disney recommends that you make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR’s) for any Table Service or Character Dining meal you plan to eat. Often it’s best to make your ADR’s before setting the rest of your itinerary. This is especially true for high-demand restaurants like Be Our Guest, Chef Mickey’s, Cinderella’s Table, Akershus, O’Hana, etc. because often your options will be limited.
