The Carousel of Progress is an attraction in which is a revolving theater rotates around a stationary central stage from act to act like a carousel, displaying through audio-animatronics, the industrial advancements in America over the past 100 years. After the doors close, the host or hostess introduces the audience, warns about not exiting the ride, then the slow begins. Well, someone decided they wanted to leave, and opened the door and out they went. The ride stopped immediately, and the announcer warned everyone in the theater to remain seated. We actually sat through 4 cycles of the same scene and song, and by the time the doors opened, there was a unified sigh of relief as we all made our way out. Thanks to Disney for giving all exiting guests a Fast Pass.
