16 Busiest Days and Weekends in Disney World

Epcot Food and Wine Festival

11. Early Fall

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is held August-November.  This doesn’t necessarily increase the crowds everywhere, but Epcot will definitely be busier. Additionally, Columbus Day weekend (another 3-day for most Americans) is a popular October weekend in the parks.

12. Halloween

This is becoming busier with the creation of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (which starts in August).  This special ticketed event gives park goers the opportunity to experience Magic Kingdom late at night, dress up as their favorite characters, watch themed shows, lesser-seen character meets and of course, all the CANDY you can collect! Note: It still doesn’t compare to Independence Day in July! Disney has special fireworks events and even Epcot gets packed!

13. Disney Wine and Dine

This half marathon brings in an influx of people. The race takes place over a weekend in early November. Check the Disney site for exact details.
