Sneak Peek of Disney & Pixar’s ‘Lightyear’ Now Playing in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Lightyear, the latest Disney and Pixar animated film releases next month in theaters, and beginning today, Guests who visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios can get an exclusive first look at scenes from the upcoming movie. If you are visiting Walt Disney World before the film’s June 17, 2022 release, we’ve got all the details on how you can catch a sneak peek at the backstory of everyone’s favorite space ranger toy during your trip.

Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios can find a preview of the film in the theater at the Walt Disney Presents attraction. Spend some time looking through the exhibition space that covers the life and work of Walt Disney as well as the development of Disney movies, theme parks, and attractions, then head back into the theater to preview scenes from the latest Disney and Pixar animated film.

Sneak peeks of Lightyear will also be coming soon to Disneyland Paris and to showings for Guests vacationing at sea aboard Disney Cruise Line.

The Disney Parks Blog also shared a sneak peek of the film, featuring actor Chris Evans who voices the title character, that fans can take in right from home:

Disney describes the film as,

A sci-fi action adventure and the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear, the hero who inspired the toy, “Lightyear” follows the legendary Space Ranger on an intergalactic adventure alongside a group of ambitious recruits and his robot companion Sox.

Be sure to stop at Walt Disney Presents if you are in the parks soon, and save the date to see Lightyear in theaters when the film releases very soon on June 17, 2022.
