Spiked Holiday DOLE Whips, New Cupcakes & More at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for the Holidays

We have been busy sharing all of the exciting holiday treats coming soon to Walt Disney World Resort hotels, and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort may just have the best holiday eats yet! From spiked DOLE Whips, to a variety of special cupcakes and even mocha molten lava cakes… We can’t wait to head over to this resort to give everything new a try.

At the Barefoot Pool Bar, Guests can now find an all new variety of DOLE Whip! The Frozen Martini with DOLE Whip Watermelon is a super refreshing treat for Guests 21 and over staying at the resort, with festive colors just for the holidays. It is made with vodka and DOLE Whip Watermelon blended together and topped off with a green sugar rim.

Inside the Great Ceremonial House, Guests dining at Kona Cafe can order new desserts just for the season. One such dessert is the Chocolate Hazelnut Yule Log. It is made with a chocolate sponge cake, hazelnut crémeux, chocolate ganache, rum hazelnut chocolate sauce, and royal icing décor, and this treat is only available for the month of December.

The Mocha Molten Lava Cake, also available at Kona Cafe, is a molten cake with Mocha Kona coffee plus, pistachio mascarpone cream, and bitter orange marmalade. This dessert is only available December 20, 2021 through January 1, 2022.

A new set of holiday cupcakes and an adorable “elf” dome, are available at Kona Island (the sushi bar, and dessert and coffee spot, plus takeout location for Kona Cafe) and Capt. Cook’s, the resort’s quick service dining location. Available November 15-30, the Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcake is a chocolate cupcake with milk chocolate rocky road filling and buttercream frosting.

The new Holiday Moana Cupcake is a chocolate cupcake, Morello cherry, buttercream icing, and Moana chocolate decoration. The Holiday “Elf” Dome is a vanilla cake dome with eggnog filling, white chocolate glaçage, and buttercream decorations. Both of these treats are available during December only.

Lastly, if you happen to be celebrating the new year at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, don’t miss out on the Stroke of Midnight Cupcake! This cupcake features vanilla cake with white chocolate Champagne filling, chocolate-covered pop rocks, and white chocolate clock. It is only available December 29, 2021-January 3, 2022.
