Spoiler Alert! 10 Things We Can’t Wait to Do at Walt Disney World’s Toy Story Land

1. We can’t wait to walk around the new land and savor every moment!

Just the thought of a land totally devoted to the Toy Storyfilm franchise raises the pulse of diehard Toy Story fans (I’m nearly feverish as I type this!) And once we’ve eaten at Woody’s Lunch Box, ridden the two new rides and whooped everyone in our family at Toy Story Mania, there’s still one more thing we are giddy with excitement about doing—walking around, savoring every moment. Looking at Wheezy and listening to him sing “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” counting all the wooden blocks in the land and just taking in every little detail that the Imagineers have no doubt included in this new tribute to the film that first gave PIXAR its start. We can’t wait! We just can’t wait!

I am a writer and a Mom to four children and two baby shih-tzus. My first experience with the Magic was in 1988, when my parents surprised my brother and me with a visit to Walt Disney World after a short trip to see friends in Georgia. I still hum the tune played during the Main Street Electrical Parade and remember the feeling of excitement from my very first visit. I introduced my husband to the Magic several years ago, and we take our children to the parks every time we can. No matter how many times I visit Walt Disney World, it seems it’s not enough! The ever-changing experience only gets better with each trip, and I’m thrilled to share the Magic with others, as well as some of the tips and tricks to getting the most out of the Magic with each visit!
