10. We can’t wait to ride Slinky Dog Dash.

The Slinky Dog Dash is one of two completely new attractions that will call the new Toy Story Land their home. You remember Slinky from all three installments of the Toy Storyfilm franchise—he’s Woody’s ever faithful sidekick and also his greatest supporter. In Toy Story, Slinky defends Woody when Woody announces that Andy’s birthday party has been moved up a week, and he obeys when Woody asks him to just act normal so as not to alarm the other toys. In Toy Story 2, Slinky saves the day when he finds Woody’s lost cowboy hat. And then in Toy Story 3, Slinky again comes to the aid of Woody (and the other toys) when he helps Woody to sneak past the monkey who runs security at Sunnyside Day Care Center. Thanks to Slinky and Woody, the toys are finally able to leave the daycare. So it’s fitting that Slinky would be honored with a Disney World attraction—and a roller coaster at that!—since he’s played such an important role in the Toy Storyfilms. In this attraction, Andy has put together the pieces of his Mega Coaster kit and Slinky races along the coaster tracks—twisting, turning and stretching. And we get to hang on tight to his coils! Who wouldn’t love this attraction?
