Support Disney Fans for Good 2021 with a Donation to Second Harvest Food Bank in Orange County

Disney Fans for Good organized by Jeff Gorden, @jeffgordonla on Twitter, is currently raising funds to put toward food drives with Second Harvest Food Bank in support of Southern California’s hospitality industry, including Disney Cast Members, and they need your help!

Hospitality workers around the country have been facing immense challenges with food and housing security even before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and this year while some jobs have yet to come back supporting the people who make the magic possible during our vacations and outings is more important than ever.

Gordon has organized a fundraiser and food drive in collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank in Orange County, CA to help hospitality workers secure food for the holiday season and other basic needs that are important for them to make it through this difficult time. The fundraiser runs through December 25, 2021.

A $1 donation will help Second Harvest Food Bank provide at least three meals to someone in need, and donating is easy to do online by clicking this link. You can also shop grocery store aisles online to donate specific goods to the Orange County food bank on that same page. As of the time of this writing, the Disney Fans for Good initiative has reached 20% of its goal of providing 15,000 meals for Orange County hospitality workers.
