Disney on Broadway Concert Series

On the evening of February 18, the DISNEY ON BROADWAY series featured two incredible headliners: Rodney Ingram, known for his role as Aladdin in Disney’s Aladdin, and Kara Lindsay, the talented actress from Newsies. These performances alone would have made for a memorable night, but what happened next was what had guests buzzing.

As Kara Lindsay took the stage to perform, the crowd was treated to something they didn’t expect. In a heartwarming twist, members of the Newsies cast, who had once shared the stage with Kara, were secretly planted in the audience.

As Kara was singing, she suddenly noticed familiar faces rising from the crowd. In a moment of complete surprise, the Newsies cast members began singing “King of New York” right there with her, bringing the Broadway magic straight to EPCOT.

The Moment of Surprise

The audience gasped and then erupted in cheers as the cast reunited on stage. Kara’s reaction was priceless—she had no idea this special surprise was in the works! For those lucky enough to witness the magic unfold, it was an unforgettable Broadway moment.

Guests couldn’t believe their eyes as the familiar voices of the Newsies cast echoed through the theater.
