NYE Shows in the Parks/ NYE Traffic After Midnight
Ringing in the New Year at Walt Disney World is incredible. Counting down to midnight in Epcot, Hollywood Studios or the Magic Kingdom is unforgettable. Doing New Year’s at Walt Disney World is a must do. Unfortunately, this high is often followed with a low when guests all exit the parks at the exact same time. Traffic is a nightmare and sometimes leaves guests sitting in their cars, waiting on Disney transportation to arrive or stuck in traffic on Disney buses for hours. Yes, welcoming a new year at Walt Disney World is the best but leaving the park after the celebration is the worst.
Pool Fun/Florida Sunburn
Chances are you are ready to soak up the sun on your Disney vacation. Pool time, park time and warm weather makes it hard to stay inside on vacation. Hanging out at the resort pool is a must do. Pool theming at Disney resorts are excellent, activity counselors keep the fun and games rolling with the kids and a frosty drink is never far away at the pool bar. Pool days are the best but too much time in the sun is the worst. If you soak up too much Florida sun you will be stuck with a nasty sunburn. Monitor your time in the sun, wear sunblock and reapply often even if you do not typically sunburn easily. The Florida rays are relentless and you don’t want to let a painful, hot and itchy sunburn ruin your Disney vacation.
Resort Mug Value/ Lugging Mugs Around the Resort
Walt Disney World Resorts offer refillable mugs for purchase that guests can use to refill during their stay. Depending on the length of your stay, family size and coffee and soft drink consumption habits, purchasing a refillable mug for around twenty dollars per mug could be a great value for your family. These mugs are refillable in your resort quick service eatery. Having a bottomless beverage for one price is the best, but carrying around these mugs is the worst. While snagging a cup of coffee to enjoy on the way to the parks is awesome, lugging the mugs around in the park all day is not.
