Disney vacations are filled with magic. Still even Disney vacations have highs and lows. In this article we take a comical look at our list of bests and worsts at Walt Disney World. As Disney Fanatics we all know that a Disney worsts are not that bad, but we hope you have fun laughing along with these vacation polarities.
Disney Buffets/ Overpriced Park Food
Might I be crazy for being bothered by the price of overpriced “normal food” more than the price tag of a character buffet? Yes. Does buying the ten-dollar hot dog still get under my skin? Definitely. While I am happy to splurge for table service meals or snacks, I really love in the parks - paying over fifteen dollars for a hotdog, side and a drink for a necessary meal in the parks is the worst.
Classic Shows/ Interactive Shows
Disney shows are a great way to enjoy a longer and cooler attraction experience. Classics like the Enchanted Tiki Room and Carousel of Progress are the best but in my opinion interactive shows are the worst. Interactive Disney shows make me nervous. I don’t want to be called up to be part of the show in Enchanted Tales with Belle, and I don’t want to be called out on Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. For guests looking to enjoy the show instead of become part of it, be sure to scope out the guest participation level before your visit.
Value Resort Price
Sometimes value resort prices are the best, and sometimes they are the worst. Value resorts are an awesome way to free up your budget for extra days on vacation or for fun dining experiences and souvenirs. Depending on the time of year you visit, a value resort you may even find rooms for under one hundred dollars a night! However, during busier times of the year you will see those same rooms more than double. Value resort pricing can be awesome but when the price soars it really is the worst.
