The Ultimate 2019 Walt Disney World Christmas Guide

jingle Cruise

8. Jungle Cruise/Jingle Cruise

Magic Kingdom--Adventureland--During the Holidays, the "Jungle Cruise" attraction becomes the "Jingle Cruise" attraction featuring Christmas decorations all through the ride. It begins with the boarding station decorated with a Christmas tree and other Holiday trimmings, Holiday music, and the cast members wearing safari themed Santa Claus hats. The Holiday theme continues once on the boat with the such Holiday surprises as Christmas gifts scattered throughout the different scenes, some floating on the water, what appears to be Santa's parachute with Christmas presents and decorations on the ground and in the water, monkeys wearing elf hats, and Trader Sam dressed in a Santa Claus Suit, just to name a few Holiday additions to the iconic Jungle Cruise attraction. Have a holly, jolly "Jingle Cruise"!

Candlelight processional

9. Walt Disney World's Candlelight Processional

Epcot--Disney's Candlelight Processional has been a part of Disney's Christmas Season celebration since its first appearance at Disneyland in 1955. Over the years this Holiday Ceremony has become an essential part of Disney's annual Christmas celebration. This beautiful, inspirational event was introduced at Walt Disney World's inaugural holiday season in 1971, first at the Magic Kingdom, then moving to Epcot in 1994. What began as a simple procession of candle-lit carolers has transformed into a magnificent event with a thousand voice choir, "The Living Christmas Tree", orchestra, fanfare trumpets, bell choir, soloist, sign-language interpreter, guest conductor, and celebrity narrator. This is a beautiful experience and one which will fill your hearts with tidings of great joy!

10. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party--Magic Kingdom--This annual Holiday celebration takes place at the Magic Kingdom and is a ticketed event with fees averaging between $100 and $130. On select dates, the park closes at 6:00pm to all guests without Mickey's Party tickets, and begins with snowfall on Main Street. All through the park there are kiosks with complimentary Christmas cookies and hot cocoa. Cinderella's Castle is so beautiful. It is literally blanketed with shimmery, glistening lights which takes your breath away. MIckey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is one of the best parades at Walt Disney World with marching Toy Soldiers,

Dancing Reindeer, Life-size Gingerbread Men, Elves, Snowmen, Disney characters, and most important of all, Santa Claus. Some of the most popular attractions are open, with Space Mountain featuring an exciting Holiday overlay which will add to your outer space adventure. The spectacular fireworks show over Cinderella's Castle will blow your mind with all the dazzling fireworks, stunning castle projections, and colorful laser beams. There are so many Holiday events that take place during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I say again, the magic of Christmas and Walt Disney World is every Disney Fanatic's dream come true. Happy Holidays to everyone out there, and if you're visiting Walt Disney World at Christmastime, enjoy every moment you are there. It is truly the most magical time of the year, especially at this most magical place on earth.
