The newest addition to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is now officially open to Guests! The hotel hosted official opening ceremonies led by a ribbon cutting this past Friday, on November 12, 2021.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was a grand affair bringing together executives from Walt Disney World and Marriott International, hotel Cast Members, plus both hotel owners, Tishman and Metlife.
The brand new Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is a 14-story hotel designed by Gensler offering upscale accommodations with high quality restaurants and all of the amenities of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, including swan boat rentals, swimming pools, room service, and more.
The new hotel includes 349 additional Guest rooms on top of the current accommodations available at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel, with 151 of these rooms being suites. Select Guest rooms offer sweeping views of the EPCOT Resort Area, too, with breathtaking floor to ceiling windows.
In addition to the amenities and dining opportunities included at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts and the new Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, resort guests are also entitled to select benefits only available to those staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. These benefits include early theme park entry and extended evening hours and complimentary transportation between the Walt Disney World theme parks and the resort.
For transportation, Guests will find buses to the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as transportation via FriendShip Boat to EPCOT with arrivals to International Gateway at World Showcase and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In addition to FriendShip Boats, Guests will also find that both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are in walking distance of the resorts, as well as the other resorts around Crescent Lake which include Disney’ BoardWalk Inn, and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.
