7. Make FastPass selections
To make absolute certain you get your chance with a specific attraction you want to experience be sure to get a FastPass. This concept, first introduced by Disney back in 1999, is more or less a way to make reservations for rides and attractions. A FastPass ensures that you receive a designated window of time in order to arrive at and experience your preferred attraction. FastPass entrances typically have little or no wait time in comparison to the general Standby entrance for the same attraction. FastPass options have undergone additional advancements over the years as well, including the FastPass+ option that lets guests planning a Disney World vacation make a select number of FastPass reservations well in advance.
Alternately: As mentioned above, the line to the Standby entrance can sometimes be very long, especially if you did not make it to the park early enough in the day as previously suggested. So if you don’t utilize FastPass services while out and about in the parks, be prepared to wait in lengthy lines and possibly miss out on getting your chance to experience something great altogether!
