Guests planning to visit Disney’s BoardWalk Inn in early June may want to take note of a minor update to the resort’s amenities. Belle Vue Lounge, the resort’s quaint and cozy bar space located just off the main lobby, is scheduled for a brief closure from June 9 through June 11.
While the closure is short, it’s always helpful to know what to expect ahead of time. Belle Vue Lounge is a popular evening spot known for its charming 1930s-style ambiance. With vintage radios softly playing broadcasts from the past and a menu that includes everything from classic cocktails to fine wines and beers, it’s the perfect location to relax after a long day in the parks.
During the temporary closure, guests will still have an option for late-afternoon and evening drinks. Carousel Coffee, located just a short walk away within the same resort building, will offer bar service during the same hours as Belle Vue—4:00 p.m. to midnight. The menu will be slightly limited, but Disney is doing its best to ensure guests have access to familiar favorites.
The brief refurbishment is likely routine. Past refreshes at Belle Vue Lounge have included updated seating and design touches to keep the space feeling fresh while preserving its vintage character. The short timeline suggests this is likely a continuation of that same maintenance approach.
This closure is part of the larger transformation that Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has been undergoing over the past few years. Guests who’ve stayed recently may have already noticed the upgraded lobby area and newly renovated guest rooms. Carousel Coffee also opened as a new offering, replacing Dundy’s Sundries in the main lobby.
Meanwhile, the BoardWalk promenade has seen even more noticeable shifts. Several older venues have closed—including Big River Grille and JellyRolls—but new ones have already popped up in their place. Among the newcomers are The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, BoardWalk Deli, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, and BoardWalk Ice Cream.
These enhancements reflect Disney’s ongoing efforts to refresh its resort experiences while maintaining the charm and character that guests love. Belle Vue Lounge is expected to reopen promptly on June 12, allowing visitors to once again enjoy its timeless atmosphere and relaxing drinks.
