Guests arriving at Walt Disney World Resort this morning were met with an unexpected disruption to one of the most relied-on tools in the theme parks. Mobile Ordering, a staple of Quick Service dining across the entire Central Florida Disney Resort, suddenly became unavailable, forcing cast members to pivot quickly as hungry guests searched for alternative ways to secure their meals.
Mobile Ordering Goes Down at Disney World

The outage affected Quick Service locations throughout all four Walt Disney World theme parks, Disney Springs, and the Disney Resort hotels. Guests attempting to use Mobile Ordering were met with a pop-up message in the My Disney Experience app reading:
“Mobile Ordering is Temporarily Unavailable
Mobile ordering is unavailable at this time. Please check back later. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
According to early reports, the issue was linked to a widespread malfunction affecting Cloudflare, the internet infrastructure company that supports sites such as X (formerly known as Twitter), Spotify, ChatGPT, and numerous others. Cloudflare’s outage caused errors and downtime across the web on Tuesday morning, disrupting operations far beyond the theme park sphere.
Why This Outage Hit Hard

In recent years, Mobile Ordering has become the go-to process for grabbing Quick Service meals at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney Springs, and the Disney Resort hotels. Many traditional cash registers have been closed or reconfigured as pickup stations, and guests who prefer ordering in person often face long lines. With so much of Walt Disney World Resort’s Quick Service dining system running through the My Disney Experience app, any disruption creates immediate strain on the parks.
Cast members responded swiftly, reopening physical registers and working to accommodate long lines of guests who had already attempted to place their orders. The sudden shift caused delays and crowding at Quick Service locations across the resort, especially during the morning rush.
Reporting From Inside the Parks

Theme park journalist Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin on X, formerly known as Twitter) confirmed that the issue was “likely related” to the Cloudflare outage:
Mobile ordering is temporarily unavailable at Walt Disney World. The outage is likely related to the Cloudflare issues from earlier today.

Gustin also shared screenshots showing the error messages appearing across the My Disney Experience app as Walt Disney World Resort guests attempted to order food.
Service Restored

By around 1:00 p.m. EST, Mobile Ordering had returned. Disney Fanatic confirmed the restoration by capturing this screenshot from the My Disney Experience app, which showed available arrival windows at Magic Kingdom Park. The service was then fully operational across all theme parks, Disney Springs, and the Disney Resort hotels.
Cloudflare later stated that its services were functioning normally: “We are no longer observing elevated errors or latency across the network.”
