Three Countries Vanish From EPCOT on Tuesday, November 18

An unexpected change greeted EPCOT guests on Tuesday, November 18, as three international offerings suddenly vanished from one of the park’s oldest experiences. Here’s what you need to know before your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Club Cool is a rare remnant of classic EPCOT following the park’s years-long transformation project that turned Future World into the World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature neighborhoods. The Coca-Cola-sponsored location originally opened as Ice Station Cool in 1998 and later became Club Cool in 2005. That version closed in 2019, only to reappear in its current form in the World Celebration neighborhood in 2021.

I question if you NEVER stop by Club Cool whenter you're at EPCOT.

Club Cool is one of the few “free” tasting experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. Guests can use self-service fountain machines to sample Coca-Cola-owned beverages from a variety of countries, including the infamous Italian soda, Beverly. While sample cups are unlimited, guests can purchase full-size versions of certain sodas if they fall in love with a particular flavor.

Three International Flavors Removed

According to a report from WDWNT on Tuesday, three international flavors have vanished from Club Cool’s self-serve fountains. One of the drinks is already gone entirely, while two others have become unavailable at select machines, suggesting that they may also disappear in the coming days.

As of November 18, the Country Club Merengue beverage from the Dominican Republic is no longer offered at any of the six fountain stations. The “sparkling sweet” drink is known for its “smooth, creamy tropical fruit” flavor.

The Smart Sour Plum beverage from China and Sprite Cucumber from Russia are both missing from at least one fountain machine. While still available at other stations, these flavors have historically phased out one machine at a time before eventually returning after a restock.

Smart Sour Plum is described as a “traditional Chinese beverage” that has existed for more than 1,000 years. Its “savory, sweet, and tart flavor” makes it a popular option for hydration on hot days at Walt Disney World Resort.

Sprite Cucumber offers a twist on the classic lemon-lime soda with its “crisp cucumber flavor.”

History of Flavor Removals

This isn’t the first time international flavors have rotated out of Club Cool. Earlier in 2025, several countries temporarily lost their place in the lineup, including Italy’s Beverly, China’s Sour Plum Tea, and the Philippines’ Royal Wattamelon.
