Enjoy Your Resort
If you’re staying on Disney property, you’re probably paying a pretty penny to do so. This isn’t to say that staying on property isn’t a worthwhile investment, because in the vast majority of cases, it totally is. However, because you’re paying so much to stay there, you will want to take full advantage of the unique amenities offered.
From amazing themed swimming pools with slides to fun poolside games and nightly movies, there’s always something fun to do at a Disney Resort Hotel. In fact, we recommend taking a whole day just to enjoy your Disney Hotel.
Not only will you feel like you’re getting a good bang for your buck, you’ll also be making some pretty amazing memories doing these things that are so unique to Disney Resorts.
Don’t Skip Shows and Characters
If Disney does one thing well, it’s entertainment. For this reason, you definitely won’t want to miss the entertainment while visiting the parks. The shows in these theme parks are some of the best in the world, and seeing them is definitely a good way to make some memories.
On top of those phenomenal shows, the parks are also the place to go to meet your favorite Disney characters. Meeting these characters can be just as good as anyone of the park’s shows, so make sure you don’t skip out on the meet-and-greets either. After all, what could be more memorable than meeting your favorite princess or saying hi to the Mouse himself?
As mentioned above, Disney is great at entertainment. What you may not realize is that they’re also awesome at food. In particular, they are adept at putting together a dining experience that is incredibly enjoyable for a variety of reasons.
Many of the restaurants in Disney Resort are themed, some even offer amazingly immersive experiences, giving you the chance to feel like you’re dining in a rainforest or a drive in theater. The food at these eateries is surprisingly delicious, and the staff at each and every place is so friendly and accommodating that you’re sure to leave with a smile on your face.
These awesome eateries are so unique in so many ways, you can’t help but remember them fondly when looking back on your Disney vacation.
Interactions with Disney Cast Members are almost always memorable, especially to young children. You can increase the number of interactions you have by taking up pin trading during your vacation.
Simply purchase a lanyard and a few pins, and keep an eye out for employees with pins of their own. They are always happy to trade pins and share a bit of friendly conversation!
Invest in a Special Experience
Finally, we simply have to recommend investing in a special experience of some sort. Disney World offers all sorts of options in terms of special experiences. These include getting a princess makeover, having a princess tea party, hopping onboard a boat for a pirate cruise, learning to swim like a mermaid, and more.
Want a fun special experience that doesn’t cost extra? Consider the campfire sing-along with Chip and Dale at Fort Wilderness, or getting some Pixie Dust in your hair at Harmony Barber Shop.
