A major change is coming to Universal Orlando Resort, and this time, no theme park is being left behind.
Beginning November 14, 2026, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe will all participate in Universal Orlando Holidays.
That leaves just 55 days until the resort begins its Christmas celebration.
The transformation comes shortly after another massive seasonal event concludes. Halloween Horror Nights runs through November 1, leaving Universal with less than two weeks between the final night of HHN and the official beginning of the holidays.
By November 14, the atmosphere around the resort will look very different.
Epic Universe Joins the Transformation
One of the biggest changes involves Epic Universe.
For the first time, Universal is bringing holiday decorations to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.
Celestial Park will also return as a cosmic winter wonderland, including holiday displays around the Cosmos Fountain.
That means guests visiting Universal Orlando during Christmas will find seasonal changes across all three theme parks rather than seeing most of the festivities concentrated at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.
Familiar Universal Holiday Traditions Are Returning
Universal is also bringing back several established favorites.
At Islands of Adventure, Seuss Landing will transform for Grinchmas. The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular returns alongside opportunities to meet The Grinch.
Hogsmeade will receive festive decorations, while The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle will bring holiday imagery to Hogwarts castle at night.
The celebration extends to Universal Studios Florida, where Diagon Alley will receive its Christmas makeover. Universal's Holiday Parade Featuring Macy's also returns with balloons, floats, characters, Santa Claus, and a Christmas tree lighting.
Epic Universe's Ministry of Magic will participate in Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter as well, bringing the holiday celebration to all three Wizarding World locations.
The Countdown Is Officially On
Universal's transformation extends beyond the parks.
CityWalk will receive seasonal offerings, while Universal's 11 hotels will feature their own themed decorations, special menus, tree lightings, menorah lighting ceremonies, and other activities.
Universal Orlando Holidays officially runs November 14, 2026, through January 3, 2027.
For now, Universal remains firmly in Halloween mode.
But in just 55 days, all three Universal Orlando theme parks will begin looking very different.
