An unsettling report has emerged from the Universal Orlando Resort this week.
One of Orlando’s most frequented entertainment districts saw a serious incident earlier this week, just outside Universal CityWalk. Authorities reported that an arrest was made after an encounter occurred in the middle of the day, at around 1 p.m., near the pathway that leads from the dining and shopping areas of CityWalk toward Universal Orlando’s resort hotels.
Per information acquired by Click Orlando, the woman involved shared that she had recently passed the Margaritaville section and was walking alone beneath a pedestrian bridge when a person on a blue e-bike came close from the left. According to her statement, he slowed as he approached and allegedly placed his hand between her legs over her shorts, causing her to feel penetration through the clothing. She immediately yelled, “Don’t touch me!” before he quickly rode away.

The situation escalated further when she reportedly saw the same man again not long after. He was said to be hiding in the bushes nearby with his pants down, actively masturbating. As soon as she attempted to use her phone—presumably to record or photograph the man—he became startled, yelled an expletive, raised his clothing, and escaped on the e-bike once again.
The woman returned to the CityWalk security screening area to report the incident. Universal security began coordinating with police after receiving a description and a photo from the victim. Officers located a matching suspect riding near Hollywood Way and Turkey Lake Road and detained him without incident.

In court, the suspect’s father shared information about his son’s prior diagnosis under the Baker Act and indicated ongoing mental-health concerns. The identity of the 19-year-old has not been released for that reason. Law enforcement has filed two charges: sexual battery and exposure of sexual organs.
The investigation continues as more details are being assessed.
