Universal Studios 101 - An Overview of This Popular Orlando Park

Moe's Tavern

1. Dining

With so much to do and see, you’ll need to get refueled throughout the day. Luckily, there are plenty of options to satisfy your appetite! (Universal even has their own version of the Dining Plan to consider.) As far as in-park cuisine, you can drink a frothy butterbeer at the Leaky Cauldron, inhale a doughnut from Lard Lad, or chow down on decadent pizza at Louie’s Italian Restaurant. There are many sit-down options as well, but many guests like to take advantage of the restaurants that are steps away at Citywalk. (This is Universal’s own version of Downtown Disney.) The restaurants here include beloved chains like Margaritaville, The Hard Rock Café, and Emeril’s Orlando (bam!). Truly, there is no excuse to go home hungry.

As fun as Universal Studios is, there is more to explore on property! We already mentioned the entertainment district Citywalk (which has an amazing nightclub scene), but there’s even more fun to be had. Don’t forget about the second park “Universal’s Islands of Adventure” and the recent waterpark addition “Volcano Bay”. All of these choices, on top of a slew of great on-property hotels, will give you more than enough options to fill up one great vacation. Don’t miss out and considering venturing beyond Cinderella Castle!
