Rejoicify, Wicked fans, because there's a unique opportunity to attend the premiere of Wicked: For Good (2025) at Universal Studios.
The Wicked phenomenon is no fairy tale. Jon M. Chu’s adaptation of the first act, released in November 2024, shattered records and became the top-grossing Broadway musical adaptation ever, earning over $750 million worldwide and dominating opening-weekend headlines.

Based on the blockbuster stage musical, the saga follows Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Ariana Grande) — from uneasy classmates to iconic rivals — reframing Oz through friendship, power, and politics. The screen version kept those themes intact while racking up Oscar nominations for its two leads and scaling up spectacle, setting the stage for a darker, bigger second part.
The hype now centers on Wicked: For Good, arriving next month. Early teases showcase new original songs and a moodier tone as the story barrels toward “For Good.”
In the meantime, fans are already speculating how the franchise may continue once the film is released. Universal Orlando Resort’s Epic Universe is already open and has plenty of space for expansion — intensifying theories about Oz someday joining the parks alongside the Wizarding World – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Celestial Park, and Dark Universe.

Universal Brings ‘Wicked' Premiere to Theme Park
Universal is turning that anticipation into access with a Singapore spectacle. The premiere at Universal Studios Singapore will welcome Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, joined by Michelle Yeoh (Madame Morrible), Jeff Goldblum (The Wizard), and director Jon M. Chu, who will stride the Yellow Brick Road into the heart of Oz.
It’s the fourth stop on a five-city global tour, complete with a handprint ceremony and a special screening at the Pantages Hollywood Theatre inside the park, plus a pre-premiere fan event at WEAVE.
For those residing beyond Singapore, Universal Studios Singapore’s Instagram will carry updates for fans worldwide.
Erivo and Grande shared the official announcement via Instagram.

Important fine print for in-person hopefuls: the movie screening itself is invite-only. However, Universal Studios Singapore is selling a limited-quantity Premiere Day Special ticket for November 13 that lets guests experience the park and catch the yellow-carpet arrivals.
Pricing starts at $93 SGD ($72 USD) for adults and $72 SGD ($55 USD) for children, and includes park admission (which means an opportunity to explore Far Far Away, Minions Land, and more) plus food-and-beverage and retail vouchers. Quantities are limited, so plan accordingly — and keep that camera ready for Oz-sized star power.
If you’re following from home, mark the calendar: Wicked: For Good opens November 21, 2025, with Erivo and Grande returning, and new music previewed ahead of release. Oz keeps getting bigger — and the Emerald City glow shows no sign of fading.
