Universal Volcano Bay Closure Begins October 26
The October 26 date isn't an unexpected weather shutdown. Universal has scheduled the park to close for maintenance, creating an extended period in which Volcano Bay won't be available to guests at Universal Orlando Resort.

A Five-Month Gap Changes Universal Orlando Vacations
Volcano Bay's extended downtime matters because Universal Orlando is increasingly sold as a multi-park destination. Current ticket configurations can combine Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe and Volcano Bay, depending on the product purchased.
