Walt Disney World Resort is overhauling Magic Kingdom Park's entertainment schedule in mid-March, shifting showtimes and adding performances of parades and cavalcades as spring break approaches.
The changes take effect on March 8 and March 15, affecting all three parades at the original Central Florida Disney park.
Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade Goes Evening

Beginning March 15, Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade moves from morning to evening performances at 5:10 p.m. and 6:25 p.m. The procession currently runs at 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
The cavalcade travels from Frontierland through Liberty Square and down Main Street, U.S.A. to Town Square.
Festival of Fantasy Adds Second Performance

Also starting March 15, the Festival of Fantasy Parade performs twice daily at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. It currently runs only at 3:00 p.m.
During inclement weather, Walt Disney World Resort may substitute the Rainy Day Cavalcade. Both follow the same Frontierland-to-Town Square route as Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade.
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Pushed Later

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away moves from 7:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. starting on Sunday, March 8. The nighttime parade's shift accommodates later sunsets and the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade's evening schedule.
Second performances are scheduled at 10:30 p.m. from March 12-14 during peak spring break periods.
Disney Starlight travels the opposite direction from other parades, starting at Town Square, proceeding up Main Street, U.S.A., past Cinderella Castle, through Liberty Square, and ending in Frontierland. When offered, second performances reverse direction, beginning in Frontierland and traveling toward Town Square.
Schedule Changes Through April

The updated entertainment schedule is posted on Walt Disney World Resort‘s website and the My Disney Experience app. The official calendar extends through April 4, confirming changes last at least through that date.
Current parade times continue through mid-March 2026 before the new schedule takes effect. Guests with trips planned during the transition should check the My Disney Experience app for exact showtimes on their visit dates.
