6. Toy Story Land opens June 30, 2018 – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney World fanatics all over are bursting at the seams with excitement over the new 11-acre land at Hollywood Studios that will pay homage to one of the greatest animated franchises in the history of animation. Toy Story Land is set to open in June this summer, and Disney/PIXAR fans of all ages are waiting anxiously to be one of the first to experience all the highly-anticipated new land has to offer.
The new expansion at Hollywood Studios will feature the Slinky Dog Dash family-friendly coaster, Alien Swirling Saucers (with our favorite little green alien men) and a quick-service restaurant called Woody’s Lunch Box. Guests will feel like they have been shrunk down to the size of a toy as they explore Andy’s backyard. Over 400 toy blocks lay all over the yard, and Andy’s footprint is about 25 feet long, making it a footprint equivalent to a size 240 shoe! How many days ‘til June?
