Fireworks may be the biggest attraction during the Fourth of July, but they are only part of what Walt Disney World has planned this holiday weekend. Across the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, guests will find patriotic entertainment, returning seasonal experiences, specialty snacks, and unique merchandise celebrating America's 250th birthday.

If you're visiting between July 3 and July 5, here's everything you'll want to add to your itinerary.
Two Parks, Two Major Fireworks Shows
Magic Kingdom once again headlines the celebration with Disney's Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky, replacing Happily Ever After on July 3, 4, and 5. The patriotic fireworks display has become one of Disney's signature seasonal offerings and continues to draw large crowds every year.
At EPCOT, guests can finish their evening with Heartbeat of Freedom, which follows Luminous: The Symphony of Us. The extended patriotic finale transforms the park's nighttime spectacular into one of the biggest Independence Day celebrations anywhere at Walt Disney World.
Daytime Entertainment Adds to the Celebration
Guests don't have to wait until dark to enjoy the festivities.
Magic Kingdom will feature patriotic decorations throughout Main Street, U.S.A., while the Flag Retreat Ceremony, Main Street Philharmonic, and Dapper Dans help create a festive atmosphere throughout the day.

At EPCOT, Voices of Liberty returns with special holiday performances, while Spaceship Earth lights up in patriotic colors after sunset. Disney has also hinted that guests can expect special character appearances, including Mickey Mouse and friends in their classic patriotic outfits.
The Portraits of Courage exhibit also remains available through the holiday weekend, giving guests another meaningful experience to enjoy inside the park.
A Ride That Fits the Holiday Theme
The return of Soarin' Across America couldn't come at a better time.
Instead of traveling around the globe, guests soar above iconic American landmarks including New York City, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. For many visitors, it's one of the most appropriate attractions to experience during Independence Day weekend.
Plenty of Holiday Treats
Disney chefs are once again embracing the holiday with limited-time desserts available throughout Walt Disney World.

Guests can expect patriotic cakes, cupcakes, cheesecake, shakes, chocolate creations, and several other seasonal offerings available at select restaurants and resorts. Whether you're spending the day in the parks or relaxing at your hotel, chances are you'll come across at least one Fourth of July-themed snack.
Shopping and Special Events
Holiday merchandise will also be available across the resort, with Sam Eagle-themed collectibles, seasonal apparel, and specialty souvenirs making a return for the celebration.
Meanwhile, Disney Springs will feature patriotic décor and performances by the United States Air Force Band of the West, giving visitors another place to celebrate outside the parks.

Guests visiting on July 4 can also look to the skies during the morning as the U.S. Air Force Reserve's 920th Rescue Wing is scheduled to perform a ceremonial flyover above Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, weather permitting.
One of Disney's Biggest Summer Weekends
The Fourth of July has long been one of Walt Disney World's busiest weekends, and this year's celebration should be no different. With returning fireworks, live entertainment, holiday-exclusive food, limited-time merchandise, and patriotic experiences throughout the resort, guests will find plenty to enjoy whether they're spending the entire day inside the parks or exploring everything else Walt Disney World has to offer.
