If you’ve ever wanted to fly, this attraction may become your new favorite at Disney World. The premise behind the Soarin’ Around the Worldattraction is that you are hang-gliding over beautiful landmarks and locations all over the world. And thanks to the handiwork of some very talented Imagineers, some amazing simulation technology and a hint of pixie dust, once inside this attraction, you’ll just know you are actually hang-gliding (and maybe even flying a little!). Think of Soarin’as your chance to enjoy the experience of flying, but without the threat of crashing into a mountain, running into a flock of geese or landing face-first on the pavement beneath you! From a birds-eye view, you’ll see the Great Wall of China, Switzerland’s Matterhorn, Sydney Harbour in Australia, the Taj Mahal in India and the Great Pyramids in Egypt, among other fascinating places. Around the world in less than 5 minutes—amazing! A FastPass+ time for this attraction is not only a good idea; it’s a must during moderate and peak seasons at EPCOT. Wait times in the queue can exceed 70 minutes, so be sure to secure your FastPass+ time in advance!
