We’ve Ranked the Attractions at EPCOT, and Here They Are!

10. The American Adventure

This presentation takes place at the American pavilion on the World Showcase inside a gorgeous theater that can seat up to 1,024 Guests. The “show” is presented using 35 different audio-animatronic robots—some that look just like Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain, who serve as guides throughout the presentation, which takes Guests on a journey through our young nation’s beginnings and history. Ten different sets are used on the stage—each one rising up from the stage floor on cue with the help of a technological marvel called the “war wagon.” The presentation concludes with a film montage of historic and memorable moments in our country’s history from post-World War II time to the present. The presentation is shown each day, beginning at 11:15 a.m. (World Showcase doesn’t open until 11:00 a.m. at EPCOT.) and is shown over and over, approximately every 75 minutes. FastPass+ service is not offered for this attraction, but you don’t need it since over 1,000 Guests can enjoy the show at one time.

I am a writer and a Mom to four children and two baby shih-tzus. My first experience with the Magic was in 1988, when my parents surprised my brother and me with a visit to Walt Disney World after a short trip to see friends in Georgia. I still hum the tune played during the Main Street Electrical Parade and remember the feeling of excitement from my very first visit. I introduced my husband to the Magic several years ago, and we take our children to the parks every time we can. No matter how many times I visit Walt Disney World, it seems it’s not enough! The ever-changing experience only gets better with each trip, and I’m thrilled to share the Magic with others, as well as some of the tips and tricks to getting the most out of the Magic with each visit!
