We’ve Ranked the Attractions at EPCOT, and Here They Are!

7. Turtle Talk with Crush

This extremely interactive attraction is housed in the Seas with Nemo and Friends pavilion in Future World and features none other than the hang-ten dude himself, Crush the Sea Turtle from Disney/PIXAR’s Finding Nemo. This 15-minute Q&A session with the Crush-Man is fun for kids and kids at heart. Thanks to improvisation, Disney Magic and an underwater microphone called a hydrophone, Guests can talk to Crush and he talks back. He answers questions about life under the sea, his friends Dory and Nemo, his surfing hobby—it’s all up to you. Younger children are encouraged to sit down in front of the huge “glass wall” that looks into the ocean where we see Crush in his natural habitat. Even Mom and Dad will find themselves believing in the magic and excited about talking to Crush. Don’t miss this one! FastPass+ service is offered, but because the attraction takes place in a theater setting, you may not need one.

I am a writer and a Mom to four children and two baby shih-tzus. My first experience with the Magic was in 1988, when my parents surprised my brother and me with a visit to Walt Disney World after a short trip to see friends in Georgia. I still hum the tune played during the Main Street Electrical Parade and remember the feeling of excitement from my very first visit. I introduced my husband to the Magic several years ago, and we take our children to the parks every time we can. No matter how many times I visit Walt Disney World, it seems it’s not enough! The ever-changing experience only gets better with each trip, and I’m thrilled to share the Magic with others, as well as some of the tips and tricks to getting the most out of the Magic with each visit!
