We’ve Ranked the Attractions at Hollywood Studios, and Here They Are!

2. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith

You don’t have to be an Aerosmith fan to enjoy Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith, but you’ll probably need to be a thrill or coaster fan because this one is not for the faint of heart! It is one of the most popular rides at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But just because this roller coaster is completely enclosed inside a building doesn’t mean it’s not also completely full of surprises! Have you ever been to a rock concert? Have you ever been running late to a rock concert? In Los Angeles? In a stretch limo? That’s exactly the premise for this wild ride! Race against the clock through the streets of Los Angeles in a stretch limo so you don’t miss the Aerosmith concert. Corkscrews, twists, turns and drops are all part of this exhilarating, heart-thumping and crazy experience! It’s the right kind of crazy, though, because Disney World fans of all ages don’t seem to be able to get enough of this ride—Guests often return again and again for the ride (maybe their trying to beat their best time in getting to the concert?). Even if you frequent the concert scene often, this experience will definitely go down as the craziest ride you’ve ever been on, en route to a concert! FastPass+ service is available and pretty much a must if you want to race to the Aerosmith concert, so be sure to book yours 30 to 60 days in advance, depending on whether you’re staying off or on Disney property.

I am a writer and a Mom to four children and two baby shih-tzus. My first experience with the Magic was in 1988, when my parents surprised my brother and me with a visit to Walt Disney World after a short trip to see friends in Georgia. I still hum the tune played during the Main Street Electrical Parade and remember the feeling of excitement from my very first visit. I introduced my husband to the Magic several years ago, and we take our children to the parks every time we can. No matter how many times I visit Walt Disney World, it seems it’s not enough! The ever-changing experience only gets better with each trip, and I’m thrilled to share the Magic with others, as well as some of the tips and tricks to getting the most out of the Magic with each visit!
