We’ve Ranked the Attractions at Hollywood Studios, and Here They Are!

12. Muppet*Vision 3D

Over on Grand Avenue at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, make your way toward the Muppet Theater, but not before enjoying a 12-minute pre-show screening of classic Muppet mayhem and antics with Gonzo, Rizzo, Sam the Eagle and more. Look around the room at crazy props and movie-making tools and see if you can spot the net full of green Jell-O suspended from the ceiling (a net full of Jell-O—a nod to Annette Funicello, one of the first ever Mouseketeers). After the pre-show screening, make your way into the theater and take one of the 584 seats available. Put on your 3D glasses and watch as Kermit, Fozzie, Miss Piggy and the Muppets gang as they have one hilarious catastrophe after another. Even the elderly duo, Waldorf and Statler are up in the balcony critiquing the Muppets’ every move! Enjoy this 3D presentation, including special effects, puppetry and more! Check your Times Guide for showings when you are in the park.

I am a writer and a Mom to four children and two baby shih-tzus. My first experience with the Magic was in 1988, when my parents surprised my brother and me with a visit to Walt Disney World after a short trip to see friends in Georgia. I still hum the tune played during the Main Street Electrical Parade and remember the feeling of excitement from my very first visit. I introduced my husband to the Magic several years ago, and we take our children to the parks every time we can. No matter how many times I visit Walt Disney World, it seems it’s not enough! The ever-changing experience only gets better with each trip, and I’m thrilled to share the Magic with others, as well as some of the tips and tricks to getting the most out of the Magic with each visit!
