2. Expedition Everest—Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
This attraction is probably the most thrilling ride at Animal Kingdom, and it has an interesting backstory, created by Disney Imagineering. Years ago, tea was shipped through the pass over a part of Mount Everest, but soon, accidents began happening and strange things took place. The people native to the region believed those incidents to be the work of the Yeti, so they stopped transporting tea across the mountain. But today, a new outfitter is offering Guests the opportunity to traverse the mountain, despite the legend. Only those brave enough to board a train and head out on the expedition will ever know whether the Yeti exists. FastPass+ times are available and recommended for this thrilling roller coaster attraction. It is several years old, but the ride continues to be one of the most popular in all of the Walt Disney World Resort.
