We’ve Ranked the Table-Service Restaurants at Disney’s Moderate Resorts

There are a few benefits of staying at a Moderate Resort rather than a Value option. The beds are bigger, the theming is more subtle, and the pools include hot tubs and water slides. Another big benefit? Table-service restaurants. Once you step up to Moderate Resorts, you can eat a nice sit-down meal in the comfort of your own hotel.

Wondering which Moderate Resorts have the best dining options? Well, they’re all pretty good. However, some are better than others. Therefore, we’ve compiled the list below to help you decide which hotel and restaurant are best for you.

1. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review in Fort Wilderness

Easily the best out of all Moderate Resort dining options, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review is more than just a meal. This amazing restaurant offers guests dinner and a hilariously fun, family-friendly show.

The show is Wild West-themed, which is a perfect fit for Fort Wilderness. It includes singing, dancing, and plenty of jokes. We’ve never heard of anyone who didn’t enjoy themselves at this silly show, and we’re betting you’ll love it just as much as all those who’ve been before you.

Of course, the food at a dinner show also matters. Fortunately, the food at Hoop-Dee-Doo is just as good as the show. The fried chicken, corn on the cob, and other southern favorites are served family-style, and you can eat as much as you like. Dig in!

2. Sebastian’s Bistro at Caribbean Beach Resort

The newest restaurant to be added to the Moderate Resort table-service lineup is Sebastian’s Bistro. This fun eatery is subtly themed after The Little Mermaidand we love it! Latin and Caribbean cuisines grace the menu, and everything is fresh and delicious. Meanwhile, the staff is welcoming and offers guests true island-style hospitality.

People especially love the pull-apart roll appetizer and the key lime pop dessert, but honestly, everything on the menu is wonderful. We’d say this restaurant is worth driving over for even if you aren’t staying at Caribbean Beach Resort.

3. Trails End Restaurant

Fort Wilderness does a wonderful job once again by giving us Trails End Restaurant. This is a buffet-style eatery with all kinds of delicious southern comfort foods. The staff are just as warm as one might expect from a country cafe, and the western theme is just perfect, considering the restaurant’s location.

The fried chicken here is just like something your grandma might serve up, and the banana pudding is top notch as well. If you’re looking for good food, a comfortable environment, and plenty of fun, this is the restaurant for you!
