For any runDisney event, we recommend staying at a Disney resort (or Shades of Green or the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts) so you can take advantage of complimentary transportation to and from the events. Given the start times of the events and road closures, it is much easier to take a Disney bus than to maneuver getting to the race yourself.

For Guests staying at Magic Kingdom area resorts on the monorail loop, including Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, monorail transportation (with a sitch to the EPCOT line) is recommended for the Disney Princess Half Marathon.

The runDisney Health and Fitness Expo will take place at ESPN Wide World of Sports during race weekend. The expo serves as the location where runners will pick up their bibs, and it is also the place to pick up exclusive merchandise for the races you are participating in. For the upcoming runDisney Princess Marathon Weekend, you can plan to go to the Health and Fitness Expo at the following times:

Saturday, February 26, 2022- 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Ahead of the weekend, runDisney has also updated maps on their site to include mile markers for all of the events. If you are searching for a closer look at what the course will look like, we recommend checking it out sooner rather than later:

The weekend also includes the opportunity to participate in sunrise yoga at the Magic Kingdom, an event available only to race participants. And, runners who will be completing the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge will be given a special medal for completing both the Disney Princess Enchanted 10K and the Disney Princess Half Marathon.

For runners unable to make it to the Walt Disney World Resort, virtual races are also available for the Disney Princess Marathon weekend and other upcoming runDisney events. Currently, the only availability left to sign up for a virtual race is for the Disney Princess Half Marathon.
